Day one provides participants with an in-depth understanding of how to assess an injured person through a series of classroom-based presentations and hands-on practical exercises. Day two prepares participants to effectively respond to high-stakes scenarios with confidence. Officers will conduct multiple trauma-based scenarios, utilizing the techniques learned during day one. These scenarios will provide the chance to perform medical assessments and treatments in a high stress environment to ensure preparedness for any real-life trauma related medical emergency. Advanced Trauma Medicine

Enhance your department’s skills utilizing advanced trauma care techniques. This 3-day course covers the management of injuries such as gunshot wounds, stab wounds, and other life-threatening wound sets. Day one provides participants with an in-depth understanding of how to assess an injured person through a series of classroom-based presentations and hands-on practical exercises. Day two prepares participants to effectively respond to high-stakes scenarios with confidence. Officers will conduct single person and partner-based trauma scenarios, utilizing the techniques learned during day one. Day 3 focuses on team-based trauma scenarios with multiple casualties. This chaotic environment allows officers to create standard operating procedures to deal with multiple casualty scenarios, while further enhancing their life-saving treatments learned on days 1 and 2.
